Fitch downgrades Rolta India

Fitch Ratings said it downgraded Rolta India Ltd.'s long-term foreign- and local-currency issuer default ratings to RD (restricted default) from CC.

The agency also said it downgraded Rolta, LLC’s $127 million 10¾% senior unsecured notes due 2018 and Rolta Americas LLC’s $367 million 8 7/8% senior unsecured notes due 2019 to C with recovery rating of RR5 from CC with recovery rating of RR4.

Fitch also said it downgraded the Rolta’s senior unsecured class rating to C from CC. The notes are guaranteed by Rolta.

The action follows Rolta’s disclosure that bank loans of $35 million due March 31 are still outstanding, the agency said.

There has been no agreement between the lenders and Rolta to extend this maturity, Fitch said.
