Hansa obtains temporary self-administration order; trustee appointed

Pittsburgh, July 11 – Hansa Group AG said the district court in Duisburg ordered temporary self-administration for the company and appointed Horst Piepenburg as provisional trustee.

According to a news release, the orders also apply to Hansa subsidiaries Luhns GmbH, Waschmittelwerk Genthin GmbH and Chemische Fabrik Wibarco GmbH.

The company’s management board said it will be in immediate contact with the trustee and support his work.

Hansa is a Genthin, Germany-based supplier of chemicals for detergents, cleaning agents and body care products.
