S&P puts Eclipse Resources on positive watch

S&P said it placed all of its ratings on Eclipse Resources Corp., including the B- issuer credit rating, on CreditWatch with positive implications.

The CreditWatch placement follows Eclipse's announcement that it will merge with exploration and production (E&P) company Blue Ridge Mountain in an all-stock transaction, S&P said in a news release.
