Fitch affirms Zielona Gora

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the Polish City of Zielona Gora's long-term foreign- and local-currency ratings at BBB- and national long-term rating at A-(pol).

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect satisfactory, albeit weakening operating performance, moderate debt and expected growth in operating revenue, Fitch said.

The ratings also consider that the local authorities' cost-cutting measures should achieve positive results for the city's budget from 2011, the agency said.

The city has capital expenditure flexibility and moderate pressure on its debt growth, as well as limited contingent risk, Fitch added.
