New Issue: Zi closes private placement of units for $6 million

Des Moines, March 26 - Zi Corp. settled a private placement of units for $6,000,712.
The company sold 3,776,848 units at $1.61 per unit. Each unit consists of one share and one warrant for four-tenths of a share. Each warrant will be exercisable for five years at $2.14 per share.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Zi, based in Calgary, Alta., develops devices used with mobile phones and gaming consoles.
