Former OCZ’s exclusive plan-filing period extended through July 30
By Caroline Salls
Pittsburgh, July 18 – ZCO Liquidating Corp. obtained a 30-day extension of its exclusive plan of liquidation filing period, according to a motion filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Specifically, the exclusive filing period was extended through July 30 from June 30.
The company said its current filing period “proved to be insufficient to file and confirm a meaningful Chapter 11 plan” and serves as a “distraction and disruption” to obtaining confirmation of a plan, according to the motion.
As previously reported, the disclosure statement related to ZCO’s plan of liquidation was approved by the court on June 12.
ZCO was formerly OCZ Technology Group, Inc., a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based producer of computer memory and components that filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 2, 2013. The Chapter 11 case number is 13-13126.
