Former OCZ Technology granted 90-day extension of exclusive periods

By Kali Hays

New York, April 10 - ZCO Liquidating Corp., formerly known as OCZ Technology Group, Inc., obtained approval for a 90-day extension of its exclusive plan of reorganization filing and solicitation periods, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company's filing period is extended through June 30 and its solicitation period through Aug. 29.

As previously reported, the company cited the size and complexity of the case in its request for additional time, as well as "negotiations with multiple parties with competing interests that have required the full focus of the debtors and their professionals," according to the motion.

OCZ, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based producer of computer memory and components, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 2. The Chapter 11 case number is 13-13126.
