Former OCZ Technology seeks court OK of 90-day exclusivity extension

By Kali Hays

New York, March 24 - ZCO Liquidating Corp., formerly known as OCZ Technology Group, Inc., requested a 90-day extension of its exclusive plan of reorganization filing and acceptance periods, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company asked that its filing period be extended through June 30 and its acceptance period through Aug. 29.

The company cited the size and complexity of the case creating a need for additional time, as well as "negotiations with multiple parties with competing interests that have required the full focus of the debtors and their professionals," the filing stated.

A hearing is scheduled for April 14.

OCZ, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based producer of computer memory and components, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 2. The Chapter 11 case number is 13-13126.
