Zacky Farms' seven-member unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Oct. 17 - Zacky Farms, LLC's official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by acting U.S. Trustee August B. Landis, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California.

The committee is comprised of Mark La Bounty of Western Milling, LLC of Goshen, Calif.; Jana L. Owens of Foster Farms, LLC & Foster Poultry Farms of Livingston, Calif.; Scott Tyson of Associated Feed & Supply of Turlock, Calif.; Michael Wallace of Sealed Air Corp. (Cryovac) of Duncan, S.C.; Tony Naish of Axis Media Management Inc. of Agoura Hills, Calif.; Carrie Gahvejian of Mid Valley Packaging & Supply Co. of Fowler, Calif.; and Vic Kawamura of International Paper Co. of Auburn, Wash.

Zacky Farms, a Fresno, Calif.-based poultry producer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 9. The Chapter 11 case number is 12-37961.
