Knoxville, Tenn., March 26 - Yukon-Nevada Gold Corp. said it settled a C$5 million non-brokered private placement of stock.
The company sold 22,727,272 common shares at C$0.22 each.
Proceeds will be used to procure equipment and supplies, for restocking the warehouse at the company's Jerritt Canyon Mine and for general working capital purposes.
Yukon-Nevada is a Vancouver, B.C.-based mineral exploration company.
