Yarway eyes exclusivity extension for committee to assess information

By Kali Hays

New York, March 18 - Yarway Corp. requested a third extension of its exclusive periods for filing and soliciting votes on a plan of reorganization, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company asked that its filing period be extended through Aug. 15 from April 17 and its solicitation period through Oct. 14, 2014 from June 16.

The company said it has provided the creditors committee and the future claimants representative with additional documents and conducted additional diligence and "the parties are continuing to review and assess all of the information provided," creating the need for a further extension, the filing stated.

A hearing is scheduled for April 9.

Yarway, a Boca Raton, Fla.-based industrial valve maker, filed for bankruptcy on April 23, 2013. Its Chapter 11 case number is 13-11025.
