XO Holdings chairman Carl Icahn makes offer for remaining shares

Charlotte, N.C., July 10 - XO Holdings, Inc. chairman and majority shareholder Carl C. Icahn offered to buy the company's remaining shares for $0.55 each through his ACF Industries Holding Corp., according to a schedule 13D/A filed on Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

XO Holdings stock closed at $0.28 (OTCBB: XOHO) on Thursday.

ACF beneficially owns 655,276,240 shares, or 88.38%, of the Herndon, Va., voice and internet services company, a July 1 SEC filing said.
