Bear puts Wyeth at outperform

Wyeth was given an outperform rating and $57 price target by Bear Stearns analyst John Boris who expects the company to report third-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $0.81 compared to consensus at $0.80, and revenues of $5.10 billion. The analyst is also projecting gross margins of 73.1% with year-over-year improvement based on product mix and restructuring gains. Shares of the Madison, N.J., pharmaceutical company were up 39 cents, or 0.74%, at $53.19. (NYSE: WYE)
