Moody's upgrades Wyeth

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded the senior unsecured ratings of Wyeth to A1 from A3, concluding a review for upgrade that began on Jan. 26.

The outlook is stable.

Moody's said the upgrade is based on the unconditional and irrevocable guarantee of Wyeth's outstanding bonds from Pfizer, which follows the completion of Pfizer's consent solicitation to amend Wyeth's bonds.
