S&P affirms city of Wroclaw at BBB

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its BBB long-term issuer credit rating on the city of Wroclaw in Poland.

The outlook is stable.

S&P said the ratings on Wroclaw are supported by its comparably favorable economic profile, its improving budgetary performance, and its sophisticated management, which is committed to further consolidating the city's financial profile.

The ratings are constrained by the evolving system of intergovernmental relations, the city's still high debt burden, and limited revenue-raising flexibility.
