W.P. Carey offers senior notes via JPMorgan, Barclays, Citi

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 7 – W.P. Carey Inc. plans to conduct an offering of senior notes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday.

The notes will be redeemable at any time with a make-whole call and then a par call.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to reduce debt under the company’s senior unsecured credit facility and revolver and for general corporate purposes.

New York-based W.P. Carey is a publicly traded REIT that global owns and manages commercial properties.
