New Issue: Citi sells $1.93 million autocallable contingent coupon securities on three funds

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 4 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $1.93 million of autocallable contingent coupon equity-linked securities due Aug. 1, 2019 linked to the worst performing of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF trust, the SPDR Euro Stoxx 50 exchange-traded fund and the WisdomTree Japan Hedged Equity fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 7% if each fund closes at or above the coupon barrier level, 70% of its initial level, on the valuation date for that quarter.

The notes will be called at par plus the contingent coupon each fund closes at or above the initial share price on any quarterly valuation date.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the contingent coupon unless any fund finishes below the 55% final barrier level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the loss of the worst-performing fund.
