Barclays to price trigger performance notes linked to WisdomTree Japan

Tacoma, Wash., Aug. 5 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% trigger performance securities due Aug. 31, 2018 linked to the WisdomTree Japan Hedged Equity Fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the fund return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 103.5% of the fund return.

If the fund return is zero or negative and the final share price is greater than or equal to the trigger price, the payout will be par. The trigger price is expected to be 75% to 80% of the initial share price and will be set at pricing.

If the final share price is less than the trigger level, investors will be fully exposed to the decline in the fund from its initial share price.

UBS Financial Services Inc. and Barclays are the agents.

The notes are expected to price Aug. 27 and settle Aug. 30.

The Cusip number is 06742D382.
