Morgan Stanley plans protected market-linked notes on fund basket

Chicago, Oct. 4 - Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% market-linked notes due April 2019 linked to a basket of equally weighted exchanged-traded funds, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The underlying funds are the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF, the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF and the WisdomTree Japan Hedged Equity fund.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10.00 plus any basket gain.

If the basket falls, the payout will be par.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC will be the agent.

The notes will price in October and settle in November.

The Cusip number is 61762W265.
