Citigroup plans buffered digital notes due 2020 tied to ETF basket

Olympia, Wash., March 22 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% buffered digital notes due Aug. 28, 2020 linked to a basket of the iShares China Large-Cap ETF with a 50% weight, the WisdomTree India Earnings fund with a 25% weight and the iShares MSCI United Kingdom ETF with a 25% weight, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the basket finishes at or above 85% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 8.3%.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.
The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
The Cusip number is 17326YDK9.
