HSBC plans averaging notes tied to S&P 500, MSCI Singapore, WisdomTree

Madison, Wis., Feb. 21 - HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% averaging notes due Aug. 28, 2018 linked to an equally weighted basket consisting of the S&P 500 index, the MSCI Singapore Free index and the WisdomTree India Earning fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any basket gain. If the basket falls, the payout will be par.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on Feb. 25 and settle on Feb. 28.

The Cusip number is 40432XBQ3.
