WisdomTree to launch Emerging Markets Corporate Bond Fund in March

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Feb. 24 - WisdomTree Trust announced it will soon launch its WisdomTree Emerging Markets Corporate Bond Fund.

Shares will be available for purchase March 8 and will trade under the symbol "EMCB."

The fund seeks a high level of total return, consisting of both income and capital appreciation, by investing in debt securities issued by corporate entities that are domiciled in or economically tied to emerging market countries.

Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in corporate debt, which includes fixed-income securities such as bonds, notes, money market securities and other debt obligations. The fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in derivatives, such as swaps and forward currency contracts.

The portfolio team will include Stephen A. Walsh, Keith J. Gardner and Matthew C. Duda.

Total annual fund operating expenses will be 0.6%, consisting solely of a management fee.

New York-based WisdomTree Asset Management, Inc. serves as the investment adviser.
