Wisconsin Power & Light to sell dollar-denominated debentures

Knoxville, Tenn., June 17 – Wisconsin Power & Light Co. is selling dollar-denominated debentures, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The debentures have a make-whole call and then a par call.

Barclays, Mizuho Securities USA Inc., MUFG and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc., U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. and Williams Capital Group LP are the co-managers.

Proceeds will be used to reduce commercial paper.

The Madison, Wis.-based public utility distributes electricity and natural gas to central and southern Wisconsin.
