Wisconsin Power & Light plans $250 million 30-year debentures offering

Virginia Beach, Oct. 6 – Wisconsin Power & Light Co. is expected to price a $250 million offering of 30-year debentures on Monday, according to a market source and a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.

BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Mizuho Securities USA Inc. are the bookrunners.

Comerica Securities, KeyBanc Capital Markets LLC and Mischler Financial Group, Inc. are the co-managers.

Proceeds will be used repay commercial paper and for other general corporate purposes.

The Madison, Wis.-based public utility distributes electricity and natural gas to central and southern Wisconsin.
