Wisconsin Power & Light intends to sell debentures

Knoxville, Tenn., March 30 – Wisconsin Power & Light Co. is selling debentures, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The debentures have a make-whole call and then a par call.

BofA Securities, Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners. KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc., Siebert Williams Shank & Co. LLC and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. are the co-managers.

Proceeds will be used to reduce borrowings under the company’s revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes.

The Madison, Wis.-based public utility distributes electricity and natural gas to central and southern Wisconsin.
