Moody's gives Aaa/VMIG1 to Gundersen Lutheran, Wis., bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a rating of Aaa/VMIG1 to Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority variable-rate demand revenue bonds (Gundersen Lutheran), series 2008A and series 2008B.

Series A and B bonds will be issued in par amounts of $27.9 million and $61.4 million, respectively. Each series of bonds is being issued under separate substantially similar trust indentures. However, Wells Fargo, NA provides a single letter of credit that supports both issuances.

Sale of the bonds was expected on May 21.
