S&P gives A-1 to Merrill Lynch receipts for Ministry Health, Wis.

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A-1 short-term rating to Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.'s $92.075 million of series 2008AL and 2008AM variable tender custodial receipts related to Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority's series 1999A and 1999B bonds, respectively, issued for Ministry Health Care Inc.

S&P also said it affirmed the A+ underlying rating on the conversion of the authority's series 2004 bonds to fixed-rate from auction-rate mode.

Ministry's debt has an underlying A+ rating and stable outlook.
