Moody's rates Children's Hospital bonds Aa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa3 rating to $101.2 million series 2008A fixed-rate revenue bonds and an Aa3/VMIG1 rating to $152.3 million series 2008B variable-rate demand bonds to be issued by the Wisconsin Health & Educational Facilities Authority for Children's Hospital and Health Systems.

The expected sale date is June 18. The outlook is stable.

Proceeds will be used to refund outstanding series 2004B and series 2007 bonds, reimburse the hospital system for the cost of constructing, renovating and equipping certain facilities (an ongoing project funded originally by the series 2007 bonds) and pay costs of issuance.

Moody's affirmed its Aa3 rating on the hospital system's outstanding debt.
