Fitch gives AA to Wisconsin transportation bonds

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an AA rating to $185 million 2008 series A transportation revenue bonds issued by the state of Wisconsin.

The bonds are expected to sell by negotiation the week of Aug. 5 and are due July 1, 2010-2029.

Proceeds will fund transportation projects.

Fitch also affirmed the AA rating on $1.3 billion outstanding Wisconsin transportation revenue bonds. The outlook is stable.
