Wisconsin to convert series 2003 bonds

New York, March 20 - The state of Wisconsin will convert $744.85 million in series 2003B taxable auction-rate certificates, according to a notice of conversion.

The bonds affected by the conversion include series 2003B-1, 2003B-2, 2003B-3, 2003B-4, 2003B-5, 2003B-7 and 2003B-8 bonds.

The bonds are set to convert at par on April 1.

The bonds were sold in December 2003 for the state's general fund.
