Moody's: Winsway unaffected

Moody's Investors Service said it sees no effect on Winsway Coking Coal Holdings Ltd.'s Ba3 corporate family or B1 senior unsecured bond ratings from the planned sale of a 29.9% shareholding interest by its major shareholder to Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd. (Chalco).

The outlook remains negative.

"We believe the stake sale will be credit positive. If completed, Chalco will become the largest shareholder of Winsway and will have effective control of the company. Winsway will benefit from Chalco's management support," Moody's vice president Ivan Chung said in a news release.
