By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Nov. 8 - Wind Acquisition Finance SA (Wind Telecomunicazioni SpA.) began a European roadshow on Tuesday for its €1.250 billion equivalent offering of 10-year senior notes to be sold in dollar and euro tranches, according to a syndicate source.

The European roadshow wraps up on Friday and a U.S. roadshow will commence on Monday and conclude Nov. 21, with pricing to follow.

Deutsche Bank Securities, ABN Amro and Banca IMI will be joint bookrunners. WestLB is a co-manager.

The notes will come with five years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to support the acquisition of Wind by Weather Investment.

The prospective issuer is an Italian telecommunications company based in Rome.
