Moody's upgrades Windstream

Moody's Investors Service said it raised Windstream Corp.'s speculative grade liquidity rating to SGL-1 from SGL-2, due to restoration of the company's very good liquidity profile.

Windstream increased the capacity under its senior secured revolving credit facility to $750 million from $500 million.

The company expects to use a portion of the revolving facility to fund the cash needed to close the pending acquisitions of Kentucky Data Link and Hosted Solutions, according to the agency.
