New Issue: Wilson County, Tenn., prices $74 million school and public improvement G.O. bonds

New York, Oct. 16 - Wilson County, Tenn., sold $73,995,000 of series 2012 school and public improvement general obligation bonds, according to a pricing sheet.

The offering included $37,995,000 of series 2012A school and public improvement G.O. bonds and $36 million of series 2012B county district school improvement G.O. and refunding bonds.

The 2012A bonds are due 2014 to 2030 with term bonds due in 2032, 2033 and 2035. The serial coupons range from 2% to 4%. The 2032 bonds have a 3% coupon priced at par, and the 2033 bonds have a 3% coupon priced at 98.942. The 2035 bonds have a 3.5% coupon priced at 104.443.

The 2012B bonds are due 2014 to 2030 with term bonds due in 2032, 2034 and 2035. The serial coupons range from 2% to 4%. The 2032 bonds have a 3% coupon priced at par, and the 2034 bonds have a 3% coupon priced at 99.528. The 2035 bonds have a 3% coupon priced at 98.71.

The bonds were sold competitively.

Proceeds will be used to acquire land for school facilities, construct and equip new and existing school facilities, construct public facilities and refund existing debt.
