By Melissa Kory

Cleveland, Sept. 28 - Robert F. Collins is rejoining Wilmington Trust Corp.'s Wealth Advisory Services business as director of tax-exempt fixed income management and senior portfolio manager.

Collins was previously a senior vice president at Delaware Investments in Philadelphia. Earlier, he was a senior vice president for PNC Financial Corp. in Philadelphia.

He also previously worked at Wilmington Trust, spending 17 years in fixed-income management, including several years as head of the tax-exempt division of the fixed income group.

He also worked as a credit analyst and bond trader in his early days at the company and helped expand its services to high-net-worth clients in California, Florida and New York.

"Rob is one of the original architects of Wilmington Trust's tax-exempt bond investment policy and management practices, which place a heavy emphasis on credit research," Christopher R. Madel, director of investment implementation for Wilmington Trust Investment Management, said in a press release. "We are pleased to welcome him back to Wilmington Trust as a senior leader in our fixed income group."

Wilmington Trust Corp. is a Delaware-based financial service holding company that provides regional banking and wealth advisory services. Its wholly owned bank subsidiary, Wilmington Trust Co. is a personal trust provider and a retail and commercial bank in Delaware.
