Williams files automatic shelf for units and debt securities

New York, Feb. 10 - Williams Cos., Inc. registered an automatic shelf covering common units and debt securities in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The units represent limited partner interests, and the debt securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used to pay or refinance debt and for working capital.

Williams is a natural gas company based in Tulsa, Okla.
