Fitch affirms Williams Cos.

Fitch Ratings said it has affirmed the issuer default ratings and outstanding debt ratings for the Williams Cos., Inc. and its two debt issuing pipeline company subsidiaries, Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corp. and Northwest Pipeline GP.

In addition, the ratings are removed from rating watch evolving, where they were placed on Nov. six following the announcement that Williams Cos. would be considering a change in strategic direction, Fitch said.

The outlooks are stable.

Affected ratings include the company's issuer default rating at BBB-, senior unsecured at BBB- and junior subordinated convertible debentures at BB; Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line's issuer default rating at BBB and senior unsecured at BBB; and Northwest Pipeline's issuer default rating at BBB and senior unsecured at BBB.
