New York, Dec. 14 - The city of Wichita, Kan., priced $88.11 million in series 2009X hospital facilities revenue refunding bonds for the Via Christi Health System on Thursday, according to an official statement.
The bonds (/A+/A+) were sold through Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc.
The bonds are due 2010 to 2018 with term bonds due 2024 and 2024. The serials have coupons from 1.5% to 5% and yields from 1.15% to 4.15%. The first 2024 bonds have a 5.25% coupon to yield 4.95% and the second 2024 bonds have a 4.75% coupon to yield 4.95%.
Proceeds will be used to refund the health system's series 1999 bonds.
