Morgan Stanley plans buffered PLUS linked to six commodities

Chicago, June 16 – Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due January 2017 linked to a basket of five commodities, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The underlying commodities are West Texas Intermediate light sweet crude oil, RBOB gasoline, copper, palladium and soybeans.

The payout at maturity will be par of $1,000 plus 175% of any basket gain.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% drop beyond 10%.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price in June and settle in July.

The Cusip number is 61762GBT0.
