S&P: Westpac notes to AAA
Standard & Poor's said it corrected the rating on Westpac Banking Corp.'s $140 million of floating-rate notes due Sept. 10, 2014 to AAA from AA because of an administrative error.
In September 2009, S&P said it erroneously recorded an AA rating on the issue.
The rating now correctly reflects the long-term sovereign credit rating on Australia because the federal government fully guarantees the issue, the agency said.
