New York, Aug. 10 - The West Haymarket Joint Public Agency of Nebraska, which includes the City of Lincoln and the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska, priced $100 million of series 2011 general obligation facility bonds, according to a pricing sheet.
The bonds (Aa1/AAA) were sold competitively with Bank of America Merrill Lynch winning the bid. The true interest cost came in at 4.26605%.
The bonds are due 2021 to 2032 with term bonds due in 2036 and 2042. The serial coupons range from 4% to 5%. The 2036 bonds have a 4.25% coupon priced at 98.168, and the 2042 bonds have a 5% coupon priced at 106.89.
Proceeds will be used to construct a 16,000-seat multi-purpose arena in the West Haymarket district of Lincoln, Neb.
