By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., June 6 – Western Union Corp. is expected to price fixed-rate notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes have a make-whole call and are then redeemable at par.

The bookrunners are Barclays and BofA Merrill Lynch.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, which may include repaying the company’s 3.65% notes due 2018.

Western Union is an Englewood, Colo.-based money transfer network.
