By Tali David

Minneapolis, Aug. 1 - Wells Fargo Securities added George Bory as a managing director and head of credit strategy in its research and economics department, the firm announced in a press release.

Bory will be responsible for establishing, publishing and marketing Wells Fargo's views on the credit markets to the firm's clients as well as facilitating company-sponsored investor conferences and client forums. His initial focus will be on developing a suite of investment strategy research products for the high grade and crossover credit markets.

Bory will report to Lee Brading, head of credit research at Wells Fargo, and will be based in New York and Charlotte, N.C.

Bory will join Wells Fargo Securities from UBS Securities, where he was the global head of credit strategy and a member of the firm's global credit risk committee. Previously, Bory worked at J.P. Morgan Fleming Investment Management in various roles, rising to senior credit strategist and portfolio manager, the release said.

Wells Fargo Securities is part of San Francisco-based financial services company Wells Fargo & Co.
