Wells Fargo adds Johns as Advantage Minnesota Tax-Free Fund co-manager

Minneapolis, Dec. 20 - Wells Fargo Municipal Income Funds announced that Bruce R. Johns will act as portfolio manager for the Wells Fargo Advantage Minnesota Tax-Free Fund along with Wendy Casetta, effective Jan. 3, according to a press release.

Johns will replace Adrian Van Poppel.

Johns joined Wells Capital Management from Strong Capital Management, where he was a senior research analyst, according to the release. Before that, he worked in fixed-income settlements at Strong, where his area of responsibility included all fixed-income operations.

Wells Fargo Funds Management is based in San Francisco.
