New Issue: Wells Fargo sells $8.27 million buffered return securities tied to S&P

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 16 – Wells Fargo & Co. priced $8.27 million of 0% buffered return securities with capped upside due Sept. 15, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, up to a maximum return of 10.15%.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 25% and will lose 1.3333% for every 1% decline beyond 25%.
