New Issue: Wells Fargo sells $1.47 million market-linked securities on ETF basket

Chicago, Jan. 3 – Wells Fargo & Co. priced $1.47 million of 0% market-linked securities with leveraged upside participation to a cap and fixed percentage buffered downside due Feb. 26, 2020 linked to a basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket components are the SPDR S&P 500 ETF trust with a 50% weight, the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF with a 30% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF with a 20% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of any basket gain, subject to a maximum return of $1,100 per $1,000 of notes.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 15% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline if the basket falls by more than 15%.
