New Issue: Wells Fargo prices $727,000 leveraged buffered notes linked to EM ETF

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 28 – Wells Fargo & Co. priced $727,000 of 0% market-linked securities with leveraged upside participation to a cap and fixed percentage buffered downside due Oct. 31, 2018 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the ETF return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of the gain, subject to a maximum return of 14%. Investors will receive par if the ETF decreases by up to 25% and will lose 1% for every 1% that the ETF may decline beyond 25%.
