Wells Fargo plans digital buffered notes linked to iShares MSCI EM

Chicago, Dec. 29 – Wells Fargo & Co. plans to price 0% digital securities with buffered downside linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will mature between 24 and 27 months from issue, with the exact maturity to be set at pricing.

If the fund finishes at or above the 90% threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the fixed return of 17.8% to 20.9%. The exact percentage will be set at pricing.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1.1111% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.

Wells Fargo Securities, LLC is the agent.

The notes will price in December and settle in January.

The Cusip number is 94986RC66.
