Wells Fargo plans access securities linked to iShares U.S. Real Estate

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 27 - Wells Fargo & Co. plans to price access securities with upside participation to a cap and fixed percentage buffered downside due Oct. 19, 2016 linked to the iShares U.S. Real Estate exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The interest rate will be 2.2% to 2.4%. The exact rate will be set at pricing. Interest will be payable quarterly.

If the ETF's return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the lesser of the ETF return and 10%. Investors will receive par if the ETF declines by 15% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 15%.

Wells Fargo Securities, LLC is the agent.

The notes are expected to price Oct. 14 and settle Oct. 17.

The Cusip number is 94986RRQ6.
