New Issue: Wells Fargo prices $2.7 million growth securities linked to commodities

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 17 - Wells Fargo & Co. priced $2.7 million of 0% growth securities due Sept. 18, 2017 linked to a basket of commodities, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket includes WTI crude oil futures, gasoline futures, corn futures and soybean futures, each with a 16.67% weight, as well as gold and silver, each with a 16.66% weight.

If the final basket level is greater than the initial basket level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of the gain, subject to a maximum return of 60%. Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 20% and will have 1-to-1 downside exposure to any decrease in the basket beyond 20%.
